We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CPO to join our dynamic team, either short or long term. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthotics and prosthetics, a passion for patient care, and the ability to create customized orthotic prosthetic solutions. You will work closely with patients, understanding their needs and ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.
Stoð’s CPO department is the main manufacturer of custom molded seating solutions in Iceland.
A positive outlook on life and an interest in teamwork are required.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments to determine orthotic and prosthetic needs and options.
Design, fabricate, and fit orthotic and prosthetic devices.
Educate patients on the use, care, and maintenance of their orthotic and prosthetic devices.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Stay current with advancements in prosthetic technology and techniques.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
Consulting, sales, and marketing of orthotics and prosthetics to healthcare institutions, nursing homes, and individuals.
Working on tenders and offers.
Working systematically towards set sales goals.
Collaboration with foreign suppliers, the Icelandic Health Insurance, and other stakeholders.
Education and skill requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics
Proven experience in the field
Outstanding communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
Initiative, drive, and a positive outlook on life
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Analytical and organizational skills and a commitment to achieving success in the job
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good general computer skills
